2019 Marynissen "Platinum Series" Chardonnay ribeye steak A slight and pleasant oxidationA very well made barrel aged Chardonnay with a lengthy 16 months in oak. The nose comes out expressive right out of the gate showing baked apples, vanilla and white flowers. As per the palate, I found it very well balanced and the oak is very well integrated. I enjoyed the creamy texture with multiple layers of flavours from citrus to green apple and kiwi all the way to jasmine and chamomile tea. The finish is long and suave with a decent complexity.
